I guess nobody does their own bodywork.
I'm just afraid if I took it to some garage that after claiming that they did their best, six months later it would start corroding again.
Are there new chemicals on the market that would do a hell of a job on corrosion?

How large a spot, how many and where is it at? Is there a dent in the nick.

If it is like one or 2 on the hood your better off just lightly sanding the nick to remove the rust and freather the area and using touch-up paintIt won't look great mostly if you have tons of nicks. but cheaper than say$200-400 for a full panel repaint. S
ome paint stores(or even NAPA) has some cleaners that will clean and remove light to moderate rust. You ususaly can't buy a small bottle.
Any pics. it will give us an idea how large and deep.
