Question i Need an opinion

im getting an intake should i go srt or k&n
please explain your choice.

I'm starting to think that they all do the same thing, breathe a little more air into the engine and make the car sound louder. You can probably get the K & N, SRT, Injen, RMM, etc. They really don't add that much power unless you couple them with headers, Y- or X-pipe, take out the cats and do a full exhaust. I have the Injen, I like the way it sounds but there's very little if any performance gains. Sounds good but it actually robs you of low end power. I saw somewhat of a difference at the higher rpm range so you will probably have to drive with the ECT/PWR switch on.

I'm content with my SRT. Not so sure my GS actually lossed power at the low RPM's, just seems that way since the SRT really kicks in at the mid RPM range and up. The SRT system does require hacking into the existing wiring for the ECU to work. A little intimidating at first but once you start it goes easily.

I just got my SRT with ECU installed 2 weeks ago, took me little over an hour.
I love the sound when u open it up , i can feel little power gain but not too sure, maybe just me lol
