Default Anyone run there Gte Gs300 at the track?

Just wondering if any of you guys have taken your Gte swapped Gs to the track, if so could you hook a brother up with some times and major mod list, thanks! Oh, and if you have a FI Gs then your welcome to throw it in the mix but I'm most interested in swapped Gs's, thanks guys!

BPU refers to intake, exhaust, and a boost controller. Basic Performance Upgrades.

so speaking of which, does anyone have a 10sec gs300 around here???

Would you enlighten which boost controller? And what would boost controller do with just an intake and exhaust without FI components? Or you are talking intake/exhaust in addition to GTE?

Thank you.

BPU is a term started by the supra guys it is Basic performance upgrades. I have a custom 3" downpipe no cat in to a custom 3" dual Magnaflow exhaust. I have a Greddy profect B boost controller and a custom intake that I piced together from parts in the shop. I run 112 leaded race gas through a Walbro fule pump. The car went 13.2 at 113 mph which is where the car cuts out due to speed limiter with 17" wheels and nitto 555R's on it. It now has 20" wheels and a front mount and only goes 13.4 at 110. My 60' times are horid to say the least 2.5 to 2.6. I am ordering a converter today and hope to get to the track on the first. If I can get a 2.0 60" time I would like to see a 12.8 out of the car.

We will see

Ben

So, does that mean that if I get a custom downpipe with no cat and Greddy boost controller I can expect high 13th - lower 14th with my Borla exhaust, SRT intake PI TC and 4.27 gear (in '99 model) on my GS3? That would be great, 'cause it's even better than stock GS4.

Burton has a GTE swap

no use of a Boost controller.. if you have no boost to control

Oh, ok. That's what I was asking in previous post - if we are talking about GTE only. Got it now.

Thanks

Best I have run so far has been 14.1 on my 20's,kit and heavy trunk system with no tune or boost controller on pump gas. My car weighed in at 4,350 pounds with me in the car. Most of my runs were about 14.1-14.2 in the 101-103 mph range with horrible 60 fts like Burton said of 2.6-2.8

All I have is the front mount, spd cut, boost cut. car spikes alot in boost but mostly around 10-11 lbs. down the track stock.

is anyone running any traction control devices like the race logic one??? ive heard of cars running high 1.xx 60fts in the wet with those things. just dial in the amount of slip and let it rip. after i get the rear end done on mine, i'm gonna throw a set of drag radials on it and see what it will do. i would have to guess that similar power as i had in the supra, but in an auto should be at least good for a similar time as my supra, which ran 10.80's...
