Hi I live in walnut, California (in Los Angeles County)
I was wondering if u guys around this area can give me some performance shops that is pro at doing the new IS 350. Im a noob at cars so i dont want to get my car wrecked by some unknown shop.
2. Im planning to change my stock intake. Is there any CAI that u guys recommend?
To date there has not been a CAI available to the general market. There are several SRI available and if you look some of the older threads, you should be able to find some lengthy debates over the best brand/style.
Also, remember that the IS350 is less than a year old, so aftermarket products are being developed right now. Expect to see more products in the next 6 months.
The only CAI available is the stock one. You can get the Joe Z intake pipe and a Blitz drop-in filter to maximize the stock intake's potential. IMO, that is the best you're gonna get short of drilling holes in your car for a custom CAI. I personally would stay away from LMS style intakes, they make less power and are quite loud, though some may like the noise, I'm not big on it.
