Well, for the OEM pipe, you can just open the cover with the pipe on it cause it can bend upwards. Keep in mind, the 2IS's filter cover is attached to the pipe of the intake now. Whereas, the 1IS it's a half cover and it comes right off. Not as simple as the 1IS. You'll see what I mean when you try to pull it open.
