Not that i speak for him, but I doubt you will ever notice a 1-3 HP diff.. (i'M assuming
that's around what the filter alone will give you, depending on how restrictive the oem was)
I even doubt I will notice much of a difference when i install the pipe
and filter tonite.. Its really hard to notice gains of less than 7 HP..

You know, I don't really notice a difference with the filter. But with the pipe, I did notice some low end pick up.

Keep in mind, I have never pushed the car stock, or with the intake. So I don't really have much to say. I only went up to 4K RPM's. It's oh so fast already.

Why did you not get on the throttle yet? Is it because you want the computer to slowly learn
the new less restrictive air flow pattern?

Pocky is still breaking in his engine - he's only got about 800 miles, if I remember correctly...

Yup it's cause I'm **** about break in. I hit about 1100 recently. But I'm not ready to just scream that engine to redline. Slowly and progressively.

Javier, My car does not suck! Yours do! Hey, you busy next week? Maybe we can visit that guy and get some stuff painted? Lemme know.

Just got the Joe Z intake in. So far it does seem to have better throttle response. Should I drive it in the ECT power mode now? (I have 350 miles on the car) Or just drive it normally.

Take it easy and keep your RPM's under 4000 until your engine breaks in... your car (and your wallet) will thank you in the long run.
