From: Tampa FL,
Default NOS/ SRT intake-ecu?

I need to know if the SRT piggyback ecu just remaps the
air flow sensor or if it also leans out the fuel. I am considering
adding a 50 shot of NOS and want to make sure that the
piggyback isn't going to make the fuel mixture to lean.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your reply, It is going to be a wet kit but I want to
make sure that the piggyback ecu does not lean out the fuel mixture and make my car run to lean to add the nos.

I don't work for a51 nor srt so I cannot say for a fact, but I'm fairly certain both intake/ecu's lean the fuel a bit.

Thanks for your help. I am going to call SRT and see how much and if it will cause problems with the NOS.

Tampa, you shouldn't have any problems, I have an Apex SAFC/W an Injen intake and it defenitely leans the fuel. I don't have any problems. I made sure of this on the dyno using the rich/lean indicator. This tool helps you monitor in real time your a/f ratio at any gear, and any given rpm point. In fact my car's first run was lean, then I changed the jetting around. The NOS fuel solenoid is going to be the one your going to play with the most. Now it's running a litlle on the rich side. Which is safe.

My best advice to you, go to a dyno which has the a/f ratio sensor. And make sure you'll be running good, but safe.

GOOD LUCK
