Default GS400 Compression Question

Just recently got check engine light. Code is misfire in cylinder #1. Changed coil pack, injector pulse normal. Anyone have any ideas as to what average compression number would be per cylinder? Is 100 too low?

10.5 to 1 compression should read just above 150 psi.....
A screw in compression guage is easiest to use with the throttle full open.

The static compression ratio is not the same as the 'cranking compression' that is being asked for here. They do not inter-relate. (but of course, both are important to making power)

Anyway, 100 sounds low to me. I wish I had a service manual for you to tell you the correct range, but, my experience with several OTHER engines says that 100 is way too low.

around 175 or 160 is what I remember when I checked mine if you are at 100 then you have a bad cylinder.

My resutls were from a 98gs400

Fixed the problem, bad injector. Looking to sell car, though. Back to ease of Honda ownership for me!
