I don't have anything to compare it to , but I can tell you that I am very pleased with the srt intake/ecu. I just had it installed last Sat., and I feel that it is well worth the money. Just my opinion.
Personally, I like mine better than the stock system. My car is stronger pulling, especially once it hits 3500 rpm, it just takes off. Mind you there are some strong opinions here as to whether or not it's better that the Injen. I can't comment on that since all I can compare it to is the stock setup.
I say no to both. It will not improve your 0-60 where it counts, thats for sure. For those that know about cars, would you believe that a 505 horse Vette ZO6 stock is quicker to 60 and the quarter mile than a 1000 horsepower modded Lingenfelter Vette? Keep the stock intake
I think the SRT is worth the money. If you can get a pre-owned one, it makes it that much better. I really think you need an aftermarket exhaust to gain the best benefits. I have a Borla and the SRT has really opened up the power of the car. Some people say it doesn't do anything until later in the RPM range. I have quicker gearing so my SRT is kicking in earlier. I really do feel, and hear it, when it does open up. If you just take it easy on the gas, I think you will gain some fuel economy because it is breathing easier. I don't think you will be disappointed with the purchase.
If thats all your looking for, just keep the car well tuned, go synthetics all through out the drivetrain to reduce power robbing friction, and a K&n drop in filter. You will feel a difference in your wallet as well as in your car with those upgrades.
