Tanabe Medalion Touring Exhaust Installed
First, I'd like to thank Mike of Tanabe USA for using my car as demo.
This exhaust is not a prototype, it's the real deal. It's not a full cat-back but I believe an axle-back. It should be available within the next couple of weeks. Can't comment on pricing either. Just check with your vendor.
Now for the sound. You can check the sound clips here but it sounds way better when you hear it. Can't really describe but imo, it's pretty awesome.
For the gains, Tanabe claims 7HP gains. I didn't do any dyno runs so I can't confirm it but during driving, I did notice some acceleration improvements on mid RPM.
It may weigh a little heavier since it's all stainless steel but probaby not that much.

any bolt on exhaust for the IS will be resonator back only, as there are no flanges after the cat, really wish there were the stock resonator seems very restrictive
