Looking for some info on any 3" exhaust that doesn't sound obnoxiously loud...

UNless you have turbo or please don't do 3' pipe, you will end up losing HP, Higher RPM gains is not really recomended for street use..

I concur - unless you are running turbo I would certainly drop to at least 2.5" if not 2.25".

It might also be difficult to run 3" exhaust and not have it too loud.

I have 2.5" running to L-Tuned mufflers and my car sounds pretty mean

haha looks like were gonna have an addition to the FI registry pretty soon. Damn I wish I had a DD to be able to boost.

I dont know of any mufflers that specifically have a 3 inch intake and outlet, have you asked the guys that are doing your custom job? Im sure with them doing this 24/7 they would know of one. Maybe Magnaflow since they have a pretty wide selection of mufflers.......

GL Soup. Loved the stadium lights in your old ride, time to see you put the lights out on M5's now

What turbo charged car is quiet? The Evo's and STis sound like Banshee's from the factory, The Audi RS6 TT sounds like a 60's muscle car etc... It is the sound of performance
