sounds very deep. I love the sound! I like the look of the tanabe tip better though. Like what everyone said, It would look better if it was flush with the rear bumper.
Remember guys, the Tanabe isnt even a catback exhuast, it just replaces the rear section.
That is a waste of money in my opinion. You AT LEAST want a cat back. I wonder when someone is going to release downpipes with high flow cats and the catback. A full exhaust system on this sucker would rock. And LMS doesnt count
i think if the tips were flush you would get so called exhaust residue on the actual bumper itself and ruin the paint job via the heat produced from the end of the tip being so close to the bumper just my 2 cents about everyone who wants it to be more flush... not that i dont agree but i have seen it on too many cars unless theirs a nice gap betwwen the umper and tip it usually happens... P.S. LoVE the sound!!!!
[flame_invite]Ricer exhaust is for n00bs. Everytime I hear something like that, I think to myself: "great, here comes another freakin' dumba$$ teenager"[/flame_invite]
Please don't kill Lexus' opportunity to ascend into a more sophisticated brand. It's quiet in stock form for a reason.
Interesting set up. I wish I had the skills to make a custom exhaust system. It sounds nice, but as everyone else says: it should be flush with the bumper.
As for ricer exhaust being n00bish, I never understood that. Just cause it sounds louder it's automatically associated with dumb teenagers? Hmm, I'm not sure about this, but while a louder sound doesn't always mean better performance, the reverse is generally true (one would get better performance at a sacrifice of sound). Maybe it's the dumb, less sophisticated people who want a quiet exhaust and less hp. =P
