You don't think you should have maybe gone with the GS3?? Or are you just curious to see pictures?

Default what do you think?

Why to go on all of the swaps guys.

I am still heavily contemplating the 2jz swap for the GS4 i am about to trade for. But I think I am actually going to pick up a 92-97 SC and build that to be my speedster and keep my GS as the cruiser.

What would you guys do, mod the GS for a cruising show car (just an intake /w chip, exhaust, TC, LSD for performance upgrades, then of course paint, system, kit, and rims, ect.), and have the SC300 fully built for the street. Or make the GS a total package… show and go?

I would 1st check what goes into swapping this motor into a gs4 as opposed to a gs3. I have spoke with a few guys that have thought about this for their gs4 and while speaking to swap techs and shops about it it seems like a harder more complicated job to pull off in a gs4. might be better off trading or selling the gs4 for a gs3 and than doing the swap, actually I know it would be easier. I wanted the total package for my GS3 all show with enough go to be respected, maybe not the fastest but respected. Its still a work in progress with more HP coming in the immediate future. I have ridden in my buddies Al's car who has all the toys you can get on a gs4 and let me tell you it moves like a bat out of hell. Very Very respectable power and low end TQ. He went with option B loading his GS4 with all the bolt on goodies possible and is building a 1jz single turbo monster Toyota supra mk3 for his power race car. In about a year or so when I finish the gs3 project I want to start a race/ track car project choosing option B aswell and getting an old SC3 and doing something similar with a 1JZ swap. That or a Nisan 240. Just for fun and track/street racing.

Oh yeah, good point Blue, I didn’t give the difficulty of going from the V8 to a 6 much thought. And plus the HP to weight ratio would be more desirable with a lighter car (the older SC)… ha, and definitely a 240sx.
