I just installed the short air intake (powder black) from LMS on the 2006 IS250. It was rather simple with the exception of dropping one of the bolts; thus having to remove the battery and fuse box in order to gather it.
I had to use the o-ring bracket from the OEM air intake since the LMS air intake did not fit inside the throttle body. The o-ring bracket from the OEM intake held the rubber hose locking it to the throttle body and the o-ring that came with the LMS intake held the rubber hose on the intake itself. The engine cover fits without any problems. In all, the sound, when given full throttle is quite "throatty" and some power increase is noticeable. In all, I am quite happy. Pics to follow....
