They look like they would be pretty nice, if they were flush with the car.

 

That is ricey as you have said.. I would remove it.

 

If you can make it flush I think it will look ok. Break out the grinder and knock off the little bump. The diameter looks about right to fill the hole.

Mine the outside is stainless steel and the inside is not. Man, and they get yellow really fast too.

I have never seen the inside of any exhaust pipe stay clean with use--they all turn black with carbon residue. As long as the exterior finish remains shiny, I am ok with it.

The tips are a bit too much, especially at profile. Lexus is about simplicity of form, not excessiveness of style. Keep it simple and it will work better for the car's image.

 

I agree that they tend to protrude a bit much. As for cutting yoru exhaust while on the car. I wouldn't recommend it. It will take a very skilled exhuast man to do this. Have them drop the system measure twice and cut once then reinstall.
I'm considering the HKS setup for my 350, when it ocmesin, but am curious how loud it will be. My dealer looked at me like I was nuts when I asked about Sport Package, body kit anad HKS exhaust.

It is too long. But then again, who cares man? It's just an exhaust tip! If you like 'em sticking out there, go for it!

 

Did you buy both? I saw they are pretty expensive at Jegs. Sucks that you cant use them.
