Default 2nd gen 1jz-gte vvti swap............

Does anyone know anything about a 1jz-gte vvt swap into a 2nd gen GS? Anyone knows if it has been done before and what we all need. The motor has been given to me, so I'm wondering if it is possible in putting one in the GS300's?

This motor makes its peak torque at 2400rpms so I feels this would be a great motor to get the bulk of the gs300 moving, so i would also like to know ? With its single turbo set-up and with some exhaust and increased boost I am sure/read that this set-up is good for 350+++ rwhp and I quote a HPI magazine article testing the motor stating that this should be a lesson to all manufacturers on building and in-line six and that the motor is so smooth you can stand a 50 cent coin on its side , on top of the valve cover without it moving ! So I hope you get it done , it would be different and a great combo ! Good luck ! Keep us posted and if you ever need to pass on the motor to someone else I'll volunteer ! Later !

john

as we talked yesterday , without spending huge amounts of dough to build a engine and build a tranny to support all this power , your gs300 eng can be done with a single turbo switch the heads to a non vvti lower compression the bottom end and you can easily do 400-450 with the right affordable turbo kit unless you dont mind dumping in excess of 20k for these other swaps
