Do you have any dyno numbers? Shouldn't the manufacture dyno tested the manifold before releasing them to the public? Are we missing something here?

The dyno numbers were given to JBrady who is in the process of making a FAqs on the headers. A detail is also somewhere in the header thread.

Faq's , I think everybody was expecting this amazing 30 hp which didnt happen. Releasing dyno number of 5 or 6 hp would kill the sale of these. About a min of 1500 to buy and install these can not be justified by 5-6 hp.

I guess there are certain people who intend to spoil this for everyone and get any informative thread locked for their own personal reasons. If you read the original header thread, the gains were more than 5-6, but not the expected amount. The dyno chart showed a clear 15hp under the curve after 5000rpm. John has said this many time, theory is just theory until it's slapped on the car and actually applied.

Please keep in mind this thread is primarily for those who have purchased the headers and are asking about installation and queue times. If you'd like to be argumentative, please take it to PM.

No worries gawd, you just had me worried there for a slight second.

Myopic, out of context, false conclusions, misinformation...

I have not spoken to Loren for over 2 weeks. I do not know the status of the headers. I just left a message for him on his voice mail. Shop hours are Mon-Thur. I will follow up again Monday.

Gawd you said in the last thread there was an increase of 15hp at 5000rpm I couldn't find a dyno sheet posted anywhere do you remember remember which of the 60 pages it was on?

Whew! I obviously misinterpreted your prior post, gawd. This makes more sense, just wanted to clarify. Thanks!
The benefit/cost ratio has been thoroughly discussed in the initial thread guys (as jbrady correctly states).
I intended this thread to be more for those already committed and for any install advice or updates from gawd on the performance etc.
I think if anyone was expecting 30 HP from just the headers, they were being unrealistic. Not saying it was impossible, just unlikely. Now, 15 to 20 HP- especially after proper tuning- is pretty good IMO. Whether or not it is worth the cost is strictly a personal call. I respect other's opinions on the matter, let's ALL do the same for each other....

Ah, sorry for my misunderstanding! Glad you still feel the gains.

I can understand your frustration by repeat questions, but please understand that people don't have time to wade through the hundreds of posts in that thread.

I was a little disapointed to hear the delay on them but with the environmental issues in the US, it's understandable.

Guys not disrespect just getting a little frustrated trying to figure out whether or not to do this mod. The last thread got so long I don't know if I can even remember half of it. Hope to hear some personal experiences from all who get them installed. Maybe a comparison to a tc or Supra rear would help some guys like (felt like 30% or 40% of the gain that I felt when I added my TC or Rear you know). Thanks for everyones time.
