neither RMM or SRT intakes for the GS 430 are inproduction. I've read some negative comments on the RMM for the GS300/400........since I'm gonna get one or the other what are the +/-s on the RMM and the SRT (other than price). Installing the L-tuned suspension kit next week.

Will do..HAve been exchanging e-mails withMo and am pretty much convinced the SRT is the way to go..RMM appears more interested in racing than in pushing stuff into production. Their intake(for the GS400) is in the under $400 range but does NOT include an ECU.

Sorry but don't go with RMM for anything. They don't seem to care except for selling thier products. I've had their intake for my GS4 and didn't do anything for it. I called them and they were not helpful at alllllllllll.
Not planning on getting anything from them not even brake pads

Default RMM Intake for GS430

Set your info to Craig Miller at RMM alsong with expressing my displeasure over the fact that they don't have anything in production yet and the 430 has been on the road for almost a year...Looks like SRT is the way to go.

RMM is working on parts for the GS430. I do not now where you are getting your info from. I have been in touch with a guy named Blair at RMM and he has been nothing but helpful to me and my friends. There product is a good one. And as far as them selling there product, of course. that is why they are in business to sell product. Another note. My friend has a '99 GS 400 with just the RMM intake and he had his car on the dyno and saw 5 hp at the top end. The final note is that most people do not understand what those guys at RMM go through on a daily. And that is dealing with endusers everyday is a pain in the ***. Don't misunderstand I am not saying that people don't have bad days, but in my 5 years of dealing with RMM I have never had any issue that did not have a happy ending. I am also not saying that SRT does not make great product. I am saying give the guys at Rod Millen Motorsports some slack. They have done a lot for the Lexus guys out there. I do not think anyone can disagree with that. This is just my $.02 Also, No i do not work for RMM.

For Biggie 27
Did you return the RMM intake?
They plan to have one available for the 430 by September...I've talked to their development guys and will look at the dyno results before I consider buying it.
Thanks for the info.

Jim,

You could not be further from the truth. RMM is working on the intake for the 430 and I will prove it. I will post some pictures on this site on Wednesday just for you. The guys at Rod Millen have been the most up front in my onion. They have been working on stuff for the 430 but did not wont to say anything until it got close to becoming available. Another thing Jim you should have your facts straight before posting. Rod Millen has been working on the stuff for some time, but have kept it on the down low. I do not want to start anything with you but you have said some thing that have no facts behind them. Look for the pictures on Wednesday. One more thing the guys at Rod Millen, Blair and Craig are great guys and the make great product.

P.S.

I know this is the real deal because they did the prototype on my car for the intake and the tower bar. And the rear end gearing, is the same set up as the 400 so that part can be bought now. So in short, there are parts for the 430. You just gotta ask.

For Kodai;
I don't start flaame wars, been thru that on the C5Net.
My info is based on my e-mail exchanges and fonecalls with Craig and finally Blair.
If you review the posts on this thread you will note a lot of negative comments about RMM and their responsiveness..check the post right above yours.
Craig gave me nothing but Sales BS. Blair Stopnick, on the other hand, was the first one who came thru with some useful info..have had e-mail and phone contact with him. According to our last conversation he was to have a 430 in house yesterday (8/7) to begin mods to the 400 intake to fit the 430 and expects to have production units available in Sept. I bitch about vendors when they don't respond or deliver when promised and support them when they do..Case in point, I have been a long time supporter of Sal Zaino and his car care products and boost him and them whenever I have an opportunity on this forum, the C5 net (corvette) ahd HCVETTES (corvette). All I ask is that people give me honest answers to the questions Iask. I have also asked Blair fror dyno data on the 430 intake and will review that before making my purchase decision..I will not put anything on the car that does NOT improve performance as some on this forum have alleged is a flaw in the 400 intake...i.e., according to one respondent, "all it did was make noise". Since you have the prototype, what has been your verified ( dyno data or seat of the pants) performance gain, HP/torque , and how NOISY is the unit in use.
Thanks,
Jim..

to Jim,

Sometimes Jim it's not how you ask the question, it's how many times you ask the same question over and over. That cause people not to want to help. Anyway, here are the photos and I will give performance numbers once tested on a dyno. As far as my seat of the pants feeling, yes it make power. The car is more responsive and no it is not that bad on the noise side.

Performance Numbers to be posted at a later date.
