I'm getting cross-eyed from reading all these recent different gear ratios posts
The must haves short of FI for the 400 guys are the 3.76LSD with the TC
Basically, the GS300 has one advantage and that having the 3.92 over the GS400 with the lower gear ratio which is why the 3.76 won't be any good for the GS300.
What else is there for us 300 guys without having to go FI: turbo/super chargers???
How come there are no GS300 members with the TC or different LSD like the TRD???
I see that carson sells the trd lsd and tc listed for the 300.
Am I wrong to assume??? What else can be done to the 300 without FI?
Edit: Oops, I forgot to add that I'm engine ignorant

Im not sure about the TC, but i can think of going to the 4 series gears found in the auto supras. that'll quicken things up a bit. SRT intake, Xerd header and a single pipe exhaust should make some good gains.
it's all about the bank for the bucks
comparing with the v8, the tc has less improvement on the i6, and the tc for v8 is even cheaper
moreover on the lsd, same thing. it already has 3.9x gear so going to 3.76 is pointless. putting in the trd lsd will help handling, but most of the time on the road you will NOT really use the lsd unless you push very hard. and installing the trd lsd is no where easy, installation cost is high.

Thanks for the replies guys
Unlike the GS400, doesn't seem like there's any "Best bang for the buck" for a GS300
However, I'm more than happy with all of my 220 horsies on a daily basis anway

i never really study the 300 well so i can't say much, but i think going FI is the answer!

I think FI / GTE swap is the way to go.
