Default Exhaust recommendation

Hi guys! Im looking for an exhaust for my GS and just found out the Blitz is on back order until late August. Wondering what you guys would recommend if I wanted something that looks good but not too loud? I had the Blitz on my GS4 before and it was ok, but if something better out there since 01 when I was last in the Lex scene. Im looking at the following, please add if there are better ones. I dont want to spend more than 800.

Blitz Nurspec
Tanabe Medallion
Greddy Evo II?
HKS
Apexi

Thanks!

Bozz,

There are a huge number of threads about exhaust and I'd strongly encourage you to take advantage of the advanced search feature of the forum.

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/search.php

On top left, point at the GS300/400/430 forum (it will also search all sub forums) and then on top right use keywords such as

"exhaust recommend"
or throw in the brands of exhaust you want, one at a time or multiples.
"Blitz tanabe exhaust"

You'll find threads like these
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...tanabe+exhaust
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...tanabe+exhaust
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...tanabe+exhaust
and many others

also search for the 'exhaust competition' thread links that will get you to a very useful short video clip

I had the Blitz on order for 7 weeks and just cancelled it a few days ago and went with Borla.. The Borla supposed to be somewhat quiet and opens up a little at higher speeds.. DaveGs4 has this exhaust with pictures.....Thanks Tony

The hks hiper will give the GS the mean growl sound thats suppose to come out of the V-8 if you still got your GS400.

Just keep in mind that exhausts will sound different on the GS300 and the GS4x0. Droning will also be different where there could be none (or very little) on the GS300 and some on the GS4x0, and vice versa.

HKS for sound, and looks better then Greddy, but Greddy Evo 2 is a true exhaust system so it does make more power then HKS hiper. I thought Evo 2 is better for turbo setup not N/A
