Default Carson-Tuned Exhaust gs 400

I just called L-tuned parts and talked to a guy named Collin about the DSR stb.. and we got on the subject of exhaust and how the carson-tuned is really nice and the sound is great.. I told him that I have the Blitz on order and if its to loud i will sell it on CL and buy the carson-tuned.. I know the Blitz will be a little louder because of the bigger exhaust tip and muffler but i don't want it to be to loud.. I read a post that they compared the Borla and carson-tuned to sound somewhat similar.... DID I make the right choice on the BLitz? I have a feeling that the carson or Borla is more of what I'm looking for as far as sound and idle are concered. thanks..Tony

personally i like the blitz more coz' it has longer and more aggressive tips, that will fit under body kits more. carson tuned exhaust, it's good for bumper with no body kits, with kits it's usually inset

and the carson tuned i thought it's a cat back, whereas the blitz is muffler back right? if so, i would think the blitz is probably quieter?

sound as far as idle and cruise go youll be fine. Even my Tanabe, w/ removed 3rd resonator, hi flow cats, is quiet at idle. The intakes ive experienced are loud beasts, so I think youll want to stick with exhaust only.

No worries here, the tips are held on with 4 tack weld, so if you wanted to extend the tip out any muffler shop can do it real easy.

I would really like to hear what the Carson tuned sounds like in the GS400. I've been thinking about an exhaust, but nothing too loud.

I posted some video's of my GS4 with Carson in the Exhuast Clips Thread. I think it is at the top of this forum.
