what do u guys think of the remanufactured TC's from lextreme.com DO u think that they are worth anything or what are your views of their reliablity and effectiveness..they have a 2800 stall in them. would buying one from them be a good or bad idea...??

ummm, my first question would be, what's the difference between it and the PI dragon tc? there are only a handful of companies making tc for our cars i suppose.

I asked Precision Industries your question, here was their reply:


The difference is that the converter they are offering is a modified stock converter, and you can only get so much stall out of it and it becomes less efficient. Our converter is a smaller diameter, and it multiplies torque better than the stock. The parts are different as well, as I'm sure the warranty.
