Help!!!! 3 of 8 spark plug boots stuck!!!!
So I'm currently running 5 Torquemaster and 3 Denso Iridiums.
I talked to my Lexus service writer and he told me to look for a pair of spark plug boot pliers. Problem is that I'm not sure which type of pliers is best for the soft rubber boot our plugs have. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.!!!!!
Thanks,
Eric
I was almost done... 6/8 spark plugs installed (Denso Iridiums) last two the boots broke...
Well... I had to buy the whole unit(2) including Coil packs.. Lexus doesn't part it out.. U have to buy a whole unit.......
I payed so much man.. I learned a lesson.. don't let sparks go bad before changing... The heat makes the rubber sometimes melt.. in my Case
Good luck... And I hope U can avoid this

The worst part is my car only has 52K on the clock. I might just end up taking it to Lexus and letting them change the remaining three. This way if THEY tear the last two they should cover the cost???
Thanks for the replies, guys.
I went to lexus before installing it at a different shop.. and lexus told me $350CAD if I give them my own sparks...if Not I had to buy it from them(8)
I said to hell with that... I paid $100 to install 6/8 and $100 more after my car was sitting in his shop for 3 more days until lexus orders me the Coil packs etc...
So all in all over $600 cost...lol... that was pure suspension or LSD money...lol..
but its gotta get done sooner or later...
I say talk to lexus and see how much they want..
