Does the Torqueconverter make any noise?
Ivan - great to hear it was just something simple!!!!!! I've read so many of your posts and I think you like the same things I do, torque RIGHT NOW and great traction and handling. With the TC and LSD you are SET man. Well maybe some bigger rubber at the back.
You now have both of the big 'grin factor' mods short of FI.
I'm still amazed how responsive my car is and how well it handles.

IOne thing that I really like with the LSD is flooring it around a tight corner and feeling both rear wheels digging in. I'm not sure I can still do that with the TC as it is really easy to break the tires loose if I give it to much gas. Maybe I can learn how after a while.

A word of caution though; be VERY careful giving too much throttle around tight corners! Yes, you have the added traction of the LSD, but especially with the TC installed now you can break loose BOTH of the rears and instead of just spinning the inside rear tire, the whole rear end of the car will swing out from under you!
This can be fun IF know how to handle it AND you're prepared for it (i.e. you have the room for it).
Also, as Bitkahuna mentioned, you will definitely want some more rubber on the rear. I just got my new 285/35 tires on the rear and I can still break them loose at will-although it is better now than before.

Yeah my 245/45/17 just does not seem like much rubber.
I'm just going to have to be careful that I don't break loose.
I was in a wet empty parking lot and practiced today.
I spun 180 degrees in nothing flat.
I better not try to get anymore stuff for a while. Wife is still smarting over TC, Tranny Cooler and brake work. Plus we both got new 01 Tail Lights and Sport Design grills for christmas.
I would love to have the wheels in this thread.

But I'd have to deal with a divorce lawyer if I got them right now.
Someday, hopefully not to long I'll have some bigger wheels.

hey congrats, glad that the noise is finally gone, and luckily it's nothing wrong with the tc
but i agree with future too, now you are still new to the tc/lsd "poewr band" , you gotta be more careful, coz' even with the lsd helping you to correct the traction, the added power from the tc and the gear ratio can still easily send you sliding.
but once you get a hang of it, it's a complete beast
