Default exhausts and intakes

What would you suggest for a exhaust /intake /chip(ecu) combo?

How much would the BHP and torque curve change?

What would the install time on this be?

There are a variety of choices for basic bolt-on mods. However, there is not ECU upgrade for the IS300. The closest thing you can get to that is a AFC (air/fuel controller) like a SAFC or E-Manage to tune your car on a dyno after installing everything.

Here is a good reference for BPU mods: http://is300.net/forums/showthread.php?t=227486

The cost and time to install varies depending the item, but things like an exhaust and intake can probably be done in your driveway fairly easily.

That is true, but it is meant to be used with SRT's intake and does not necessarily account for other mods you may have on the car; therefore, it is not as flexible as an AFC, which can help yield more power from your setup.
