Default Transmission drain plug torque value

Hi,

I have searched alldata.com, this websight, the internet and cannot find the torque value for the transmission drain plug on a 2001 Lexus GS300. If anyone has a service manual I would greatly appreciate the value.

Doesn't say in the service manual either. I'd say about the same torque as the oil drain plug. Not too tight, not too loose.

Thanks Chris!! When my torque wrench got to 20 ft-lbs I started getting that loose feeling in my but so I stopped. I torqued it to 18 ft-lbs. I then saw your thread, next time I will torque it to 15 lbs with a new washer.
