Default Headers for the GS. Where to get?

Hey guys, doesn't look like Steve Ganz will be producing the headers for the GS so... does anyone know where to get a aftermarket header system for the GS. I see several companies offering headers for the IS, but nothing for the GS. Does anyone know if the IS300 header will fit on a GS? Thanks

Ken

Yeah, Xerd told me that their headers should work on the GS300.

I tried acquiring XERD headers awhile back, but after some detailed research, many customers that I have read said they waited forever to get the parts.. Their customer service is kinda iffy from what I gather...

Question

Does anyone know of Xerd headers performance? I'm thinking about getting some good performing headers along with the Carson Tune B-Pipe. I already have Carson Tunes cat/back exhaust.

Xerd does in fact make a header that will work on our car. From the info that I have picked up so far, Xerd makes the most HP of all the headers. However, the headers have thin walls therefore causing a "Raspy" noise when driving the car hard. Many people have sold there setup on .Net just because of the noise alone.

Cool

How do you like your headers (performance and sound)? How do they compare to the Xerd headers, since you heard that Xerd offers the most HP? Also, do you notice a great difference with your P.I. 3000 TC, would you recommend it (3000)?

My new headers and Carson Tuned B pipe make a huge noticable difference. Throttle response is much better (even in 5th gear) and the car pulls very hard to red-line. Sound is much louder now (sounds hella mean). The Carson Tuned B pipe I may replace and go back to stock to keep the noise levels under control. Early mornings are a wake up call with headers, race pipe and exhaust..haha

I don't have the TC installed until after Xmas. My mechanic is on vacation for the holidays. Stay tuned for my debut (1-8-05) with all my new goodies. Pics will be included...

The is300 headers should fit the Gs300, because they are the same motor.

My buddy has an Is300 with the xerd headers...... Let me tell u, they are louds as hell...

There is a deep and high tone growl. People 3 blocks away can hear U coming,

So if u worried about the Cops, This isn't 4 U.

If U don't want an extremely loud sound, This isn't 4 U.

and I don't mean that it makes your IS300 or gs300 sound like a Gs400, No no NO,

It makes it sounds Like a retarted Is300 on Juice...

I think he dyno'd like 210 WHP and 200WTQ 5spd with headers, full HKS exhaust, no cats, no resonators.... with SAFC untuned...

Hope this helps...
Milad,

Actually, I bought them from a bodyshop who deals directly with OBX. I did contact Turbo East via E-mail and they did tell me their header won't fit on a GS... I thought that was strange so I did some searching on .Net to find out that in fact, the OBX header does fit on a GS and the OBX header is used by Turbo East. The only thing that wont fit is the Y pipe. The GS has a 6" longer Y pipe.

I paid $300 for the OBX header and I believe Turbo East sells them for $400+. Ebay also has a few headers for sale that will fit the IS/GS cars...

Can you give me that bodyshop's contact information? I know the OBX headers bolt right up to the B-Pipe / Carson Tune.
