You finally took your car into RCTS for FI didn't you? See if you didn't do that then anything else is now going to be a big disappointement for me

Hey Navaz, your signature says "The first 2nd gen in Canada". Are you basing that off of VIN or something your dealer told you? Just curious.

Oh, and you really stink at teaser posts. Really .

Sorry it took so long for me to get back to my computer, but I have been enjoying my new mods all weekend. I'm sure you all can understand.
Ok so I finally had the RMM 3.76 LSD and the 2800 PI torque converter installed. All i can say is I wish I had done this 7 years ago. The car is now a missile off the line and has way more avalable power at all times. This mod is a must. Cornering is simpley amazing it comepleatly changes every thing about the car. On saturday afternoon it started to snow pretty hard before I went for my cruse, even in the snow the car just goes, the LSD makes the car feel almost as if i have AWD no more spinning just one wheel all the time. On the downside which is not much but when i'm travelling 120 KM/H the car is now at 3000 RPM with the cruse controll on. I do have one Kill over the weekend it was a WRX that just pulled beside me at a light and started to rev it's engine so I just floored it when the light turned green, lets just say the race was over as soon as i crossed the intersection, by the time i got up to the speed limit 70 km/h the WRX was about 5 cars behind me. I did not speed past the limit he finally caught up to me, followed me into a parking lot asked WTF did i do since he told me he had never had been beet by any Lexus, and he also did not know there where mods available for them, anyway I told him about Club Lexus and he told me that he now wants a GS 400.

Lol, great story. Be safe with that LSD especially in wet and snow - it'll send your car in a different direction than you expect!

Congrats on the new mods

Dave: About the first 2nd gen in Canada thing, I was driving my car out of the lexus delership lot at 8.00 AM on Oct 9 1997, that is the day they went on sale. there was another one that was sold but had not been delivered yet but it was a 300. I think the next one left the next day. As for my vin # PM me and i will give it to you, BTW we should start a regestry on clublexus.

I forgot to mention although it is not the most acurate way of ding it , I had a friend of mine sit in the back seat with a stop watch he started it when i hit the gas and stoped it when i hit 100 km/h it took 5.3 sec when in pwer mode and in normal mode it did it in 4.9 I guess it has to do with th fact that it reved more or i was just slipping when i shot up to 40 km/h, oh yea i was using stock 17's crome with my winter tires. and the temp outside was -6 C, Dry but cold road.
