I got my supra LSD from Carson Toyota for my 430 and it was less expensive than RMM. The take off performance has improved quite a bit. I like it alot and it was worth every penny.

I'm also thinking about adding the Dragon TC, but the check light issues have me stumped. Also, being in Arizona, will a cooler really help from overheating the tranny?

i think you need/want the cooler no matter where you are. get a good cooler and that should be enough to keep the tranny cool

Congrats on the LSD. About the TC and check engine light (CEL), perhaps we could do a poll to see whether all GS430 owners with the TC get the CEL, or just some, and maybe there's a pattern. Has anyone called Precision Industries to see if there's a workaround?

I'd sure like to know if there's a workaround for the cel. I have a 3.76 lsd on order. My next mod will be
a tc but only after the cel issue is fixed. For those of you who do have the cel problem, do you ever worry that something else could go wrong but not know since the light is always on?

Add me to the NO cel list. Put about 17K miles on mine since the TC upgrade, no problem to date ::knocking on wood::

someone talked to PI before. they said it has nothing to do with them at all, it's about the sensors from lexus, so they are not going to do anything about it

i wouldn't, as long as you maintain the car well, i don't see the posibitlity of having any problems with the engine

OK cool - so that shows at least it's not EVERY GS430 that has this problem. I've got a suspicion it's install related then.

I don't know that it does. Remember DaveGS4's GS400 (not 430) had the CEL with the TC as well until he swapped it out for a 2600rpm one to go with the FI.

Mo at SRT did the install. And I have the PI TC with a 2800 stall if I recall correctly.

where did he get his rear end from?

i think the 93+ rear end will fit the GS no problem. but the 3.76 lsd is only available on 94-96?
