The friction additives are only for LSDs using the clutch/cone type of mechanism (e.g. TRD ). Not necessary for the Torsen (gear type LSD) as far as I know. Probably doesn't hurt anything, just not needed.
yup that's true. i hvae talked to couple of mechanics about it, and they all said do NOT use the one with frictional for the torsen lsd. it's not right.

I know that on my old GM torsen (F-body) they still recommended the friction modifier to get rid of the low-speed clicking noise. Go figure...

are you referring to the redline one? coz' i called up redline and talk to them about the different ones and they told me not to use it. maybe another brand has something different as friction additive?

and the low speed clicking, can you describe it more? coz' i don't hear anything with mine right now?
