That is my understanding too; that there is little advantage to be gained on the GS3 by changing the stall speed on the TC. Pretty expensive mod if you don't gain much from it...

Congrads on your tc install. Another cl member with both lsd and tc. Everyone swears that these 2 mods work amazingly well together rather than individually.

if no mods is just plain ordinary bread and TC is the jelly and LSD is peanut butter..... all right me very hungry now and need to get me some peanut butter for my bread and jelly

do post up times with your timer. Very anxious to know what kind of runs you are getting.

well there is a tc for the 300. in fact, that's the first one to be built, coz' PI they first developed the TC for the supra, thus they moved on to the gs300 and then gs400. at least that's what i heard

anyway, the reason for not as many people doing the tc on the 300 is that they don't gain as much as the 400. but still that's gain. if you want to stay NA, it's still a mod to do imho

For the record, the "stock" stall speed for a IS300/GS300 is 2700, with a + or - 150rpms... This info was given to me from the guys at Luxury Motorworks which they found in their Lexus mechanic book.

After talking with P.I. today, they suggest doing a 3000 stall upgrade for all GS/IS 300 cars...

wow, the stock one is so high already? no wonder why the tc on the gs3 doesn't yeild as much gain as that on the gs4
