Question Slow and rough start

Hey all,

Was wondering if I could get a little assistance from someone. I havent started my car in about 2 days and went to start it today and the car didnt start right away. The engine didnt turn over right away. It sounded as though gas was not getting to the engine despite there being half a tank left. Once the engine did start an a lot of smoke started coming out of the exhaust. Despite this I drove the car for a half hour with no further symptoms or problems. The car starts fine now.

Any ideas of what could have caused this. Could this be a symptom of a larger problem?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Jack

I guess it could be the battery but the battery does sound strong. It seems as though maybe it has to do with the cold weather?
