Well don't expect miricles. but the srt is a decent mod if thats about all you do to it. I got one and now with all the other mods I wish I would've gotten another brand intake and an safc. As far as warranty goes it wil void some things cause well you are tapping directly into the ecu. Like I said you can tell a diffrerence but don't expect it to be a huge difference. I noticed my biggest differences with exhaust header/y pipe and cam gear change. Just my 2 cents. Hope that helps.

I had a srt intake and i am going back to one this week. I tried every other brand out there except the PLP and the gains i got were nothing compared to the srt even after using a safc w/other intakes(this is with a auto not a manual). The srt will not void any warranties!

The aftermarket part has to be the cause of the problem if it is ecu related. Now if you wire it wrong and that causes damage then it would void that part of the warranty on electrical parts. I had mine on a yr and the dlr never mentioned it at all and was impressed with the gains it gave. Again as part of sema a aftermarket part has to be the cause of the problem before a dlr can void a warranty. If you do everything according to direction you won't have this problem with the intake at all. This was what my dlr explained to me also on aftermarket parts. If they find the part caused the problem then they have to show you. I may have a better dlr then others but if you have questions just go to www.sema.org

Thats true about the warranty. I heard there are some Lexus dealers offering the SRT intake as a performance upgrade, and the Lexus racing team's IS was using it also. If it is good enough for Lexus....
