Angry Leaks!!

I just took my 98 GS 400 with 126K miles to the dealership since I noticed some spots on my driveway.

Here is what they said:

FRONT CRANKSEAL $592.00,
REAR MAIN ENGINE SEAL $860.00,
OILPAN RESEAL $260.00,
POWER STEERING PUMP $678.00.

Total: $2390

Are you kidding me??!! Is there anything else I should worry about breaking? I'm debating whether I should start looking for a new vehicle or buck up and drop $2390 into it. I just added rims and some paint work to get rid of the chips in the hood which was $2,000 ( for both ). Is looks great and drives great but I don't want to pay all the LEXUS LABOR costs to fix things......

Do you guys know of anything else that I should count on breaking??

Thanks....

it seems to met that they just want to seal up all that they can, even if you don't need it so that they can make an extra buck....i hear of that all the time. i would recommend taking it to another shop and get a second, and even third opinion....and assuming that everything that is wrong as stated, i guarantee you'll at least save $250 by comparing, as some shops charge more than others...good luck.

Next they will tell you that the engine burns half a quart of oil between changes and you require a rebuild. These may be legitimate problems, but any car with that many miles will leak some fluids. As others indicated, the problems may not warrant replacement of all these parts and seals. And for those that do I'd go to a non-lexus mechanic if you have one you can trust.
