Todd from TM Engineering can get the 3.76 LSD for less and do the install for very reasonable price if you're able to go by his shop. Here's a pic of mine

Yeah, it's expensive but sometimes you can find a used one-just make sure it's the right one!
Actually the install is pretty much a bolt on (have to move exhaust out of the way, no big deal on a lift).
The TC is much more involved installation-both mods are very effective and together they are

i just hope i can finish these two mods soon. history on my car, i did most of suspension, then tons of cosmetic, i guess now i should focus on performance and just finish it up

I have the same issue....had the IS before the GS...put on a SRT intake and Stillen exhaust....then along came the GS.....Let's just say the IS has changed any since I bought the GS...Good luck on "finishing" the GS Henry......you will never be satisfied...................

That makes 3 of us in NorCal that own a GS & IS.

You know my mod HIS-story for both cars!

Soo many mods, too little time.

HA HA.....Yes, the real question is, will one ever be done to the point you are satisfied with it? You know what happens once you start the other one.....need deep pockets....

I don't think I can say that my GS will ever be done to the point I would never touch it again....
