Default How loud is a gs400 with exhaust?

I was wondering how loud a gs400 is with exhuast like the HKS hyper? Can somebody compare it to how loud a mustang GT with flowmaster is? And/or a Z28 or SS camaro?

I have a 98 SS camaro as my name says and it is pretty loud i also have a 454 in a lemans with about 488 HP and that is very loud they both have flowmaster on them.
I wanted to know how loud the lexus would be mainly on the inside with the windows up. I dont want the lexus to be as loud inside as my camaro and definatly not as lound as my pontiac.
So If someone could compare the exhaust volume to another car i would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks alot

Definitely quieter than both of those. About as loud as a stock Camaro SS.

You'll be able to tell at the meets OR you can check out one of the DVDs from a recent exhaust competition. Download may still be available, but the sound isn't nearly as good.

I've got this DVD and it is VERY impressive, great job by those guys.

You can download a low res sample on the website here.

The dyno meet next weekend will give you a good opportunity to see/hear many combinations of exhausts and intake combinations. You will find something that you like.

Just Dyno'd my car today at the shop where I am organizing the dyno meet for this coming Saturday. With the back of the car 15 feet away from the back wall, the exhaust sounded awesome.

Can't wait to hear Redgs4's this Sat morning. (He's running at 9am if you wanna hear it)

The sound I heard was completely different from the Exhaust competition, because of diifferent conditions.

First the exhaust is bouncing off the wall and I'm sure you can hear it from the street about 300ft. away.

Second the car is under LOAD, so the exhaust note is much different than non-loaded conditions like we were running at the End of Summer meet.

We're gonna try to take some video of the Dyno meet, so hopefully we will have more sound bytes to post.
