Most of us in the 200T/300 community with the 8AR-FTS engine have been waiting for this for years. For those who don't know, there is a torque value limit, boost by gear limit, horsepower limit and other limts that have not been bypassed by anyone. The TOMs box, JB4, MFORCE, D3 and current VF Tuner owners have been at the ECU limits when it comes to tuning. Bigger turbos and mods that really increased power were irrelevant until now. VF Tuner has announced that they have cracked all the limits of the ECU. This is pretty exciting!

 

i'm reviving this to ask whether or not this will **** up the engine longterm? like, which tune can be used safely for years? removing all limits sounds like maybe (?) it's a bad idea in the long run but fun now.

considering d3 as well. have run tom's powerbox for a bit as well as the jb4. both of those were okay, but the jb4 threw codes.
