Default Resetting ECU after mods

So i've been searching around for proven facts on resetting the ECU for better performance and didnt find the answer i was really looking for. I just finished up my BFI mod and i really cant feel that great of a change. I was wondering if resetting the ECU will help, and if i wanted to have my ECU settings on a more gas-efficient mode, how should i be driving it after resetting the ECU? Will i lose out power if the ECU adapts to slow driving habits?

I have questioned this, I have done the BFI mod and have NOT resetted my ECU, to that extent I have not felt any REAL performance difference other then that loud sucking sound (then again this won't do too much to a N/A car). They say that you will need to reset the ECU after doing the BFI so it can adjust to the new availability of air, and yes you most likely will lose performance if you make the ECU adapt to a more economical setting. I will be resetting my ECU (finally) once I go through smog.

there is no magic ECU "reset"

pop the hood. open the fuse box. pull the EFI 30 Amp fuse for at least 10 seconds and put it back together. this will clear all stored data in the ecu.
