I am trying to run 15-18 psi on my LS400. Still tunning with MSD DIS-2. I ran 15 psi on my car with Twin Turbo and it pulls very hard. Nice numbers......

 

I thought about that too, but I still think we would have to retard timing in that high a boost range. Would be nice though.

i am thinking to get RMM SC for my GS430, it won't fit but i talk to someone and he can make the ECU adapted to GS430 spec. so pleae helpe me out here bro , jsut wanna know more about the output of the RMM supercharger, also what boost are u running now?

All the HP #'s quoted here are @ THE WHEELS. To find out crank HP you take the number, in this case 378, and divide it by .8. His CRANK HP is 472.5. The car comes with 300 @ the CRANK or about 240 @ wheels (which has been verified by several N/A dyno runs fellow CL members have done).

That is an increase of 130+HP to the ground. Nothing to joke around about, trust me.

 

For a supercharger without radical psi #s, I think that is an amazing gain!! When I was doing my research, I noted that lots of super charges only got you about 75-125hp AT THE CRANK!! To pick up 130rwhp is to scare the SNOT out of some M5 owners!!

i was so surprised how RMM SC putting out that much HP! cuz on their web they claim to make about 80 HP over the stock GS only.

Alright fellas..I drove around for a few hours today running errands (stereo shops for ideas), and I literally could not find any willing participants for a quick run...and trust me...I was looking! Oh well, there's still one day left in the weekend....maybe I will find some takers tomorrow.

 

Jeff and Jaime, you'll have to look hard for much 'competition' with those numbers! Even without FI, my GS with the TC and Torsen diff seems to be able to dust most things on the road. It's just too easy. I did run into an Audi RS6 on the road the other day and that thing is lightning fast.

That is what they claim on 5lbs of boost, which is the entry level boost amount. Remember, they have to be conservative so you don't come back and sue them after you spent $5k on a kit and don't hit advertised numbers.

BTW, with 5lbs of boost you CAN get 80HP pretty easily with this kit.
