Lexus is 600
Hello clublexus family,
I have a 2009 Lexus is 350 that is now high mileage and decided to give the car new life. I was originally going to do a 2gr fks swap mated to the is250 manual transmission, but found a opportunity that I will need advice on. I found a v35a (the twin turbo v6 from the ls 500) for a somewhat reasonable price. Now of course I’m looking into doing this build. I can’t find much information on this engine. what will it take to get this engine to produce around 600whp and how reliable would it be? What transmission should I use? How can I wire the thing? Would a stand alone ecu know how to control the engine? I have a 10k budget for this build where is my money best spent?
I’ve seen this engine swap done into a 4is called the is600 but there isn’t much information on that either. Before I set out on the journey to put it into a 2is I want as much advice as possible! Any information helps! Thank you all

would this make more power and or be easier to install versus a Chevrolet LS or LT engine?
Here is light reading on the V35S... www.toyota-club.net/files/faq/19-09-10_faq_df_v6_eng.htm
It appears to me that this ECM ECU is one of a kind with all it manages. This is case for a black box converter and keeping both ECU's on the table. Regardless hardware engineering and a software guru is needed if the car is to pass any any inspections.
IMO - a complicated install. Good luck!
