Default O2 sensors

Hi . Hoping someone can give me some advise for my 2006 lexus is250 v6

O2 sensors . Bank 1 and Bank 2 . Fault codes P0137/PO157 .

my cats have been gutted and really im just wondering is it a waste of time replacing these sensors . Because cats have been gutted will it cause the sensors to fail again ? . I have been told they can be mapped out buy i have already bought the o2 sensors and now thinking iv just wasted my money . . Any advice be a great help thank you

No it is not a waste of time or money as long as you plan on using the car for the foreseeable future.
