Hi everyone, just joined this group hoping to get some help. I drive a 08 Lexus IS250 AWD and I bought a AEM Cold Air Intake for the sounds and power, pretty much the same reason why everyone else buys one. Issue is, I had it installed with a friend but for some reason my dashboard has the VSC, Traction Control, and Check Engine light on.

I used a MAF Sensor cleaner but it hasn't really worked since the lights came back on. Sometimes the engine stalls too which is annoying but I usually just keep turning the engine until it runs. If anyone else has had this issue, please reply. I'm still new to cars in terms of learning how it works and would love to receive some insights.

I've already checked for holes and leaks and there aren't any....thank you!

 

I drove a same model 2007 and the VSC light would come on sometimes as well other intermittent electrical glitches.
I would assume it does not have to do with the intake, maybe just normal issues considering its age. Despite all that my 2007 made it to 200K no major problems and i also had a cold air intake.
