What brand did you go with? I'm on the fence still because I've seen some guys report issues with electrical stuff when they have it on and also because I can get the same feeling by just pressing the pedal harder without spending a few hundred bucks.
That's the brand, Pedal Commander. The throttle response im getting after installing it I couldn't receive by pressing the pedal more. You definitely getting a quicker response to the injectors.

Ah I see, I was looking at Toms or Apexi. From my understanding it just tricks the input of the throttle, it doesn't do anything with injectors or performance per say. Doesn't make the car quicker in a quarter mile, etc.. It just tricks the input % of the throttle. Ex: let's say stock if you pushed the pedal down an inch, you'd get 25% throttle but with the controller at it's highest setting, you push the pedal that same inch and you'd get 75% throttle. Not exact numbers but you get the idea.

Throttle opens the throttle plate in the throttlebody. Unless your car was broken, all you're doing is getting to full throttle faster, or at pedal positions that aren't designed for full throttle with the stock map.
If you know about drag racing and the reaction time/ ET relationship, then you may better understand the Pedal Commander or similar. If applied properly, it can give you the holeshot advantage, whether for light to light racing or if you just need to get the jump on the vehicle in the next lane so you can change lanes and get in front of them safely.
Unless you have actually driven a vehicle with one installed, you might not know how it feels. I have them installed in both my 1500 RAM Hemi and LS460.
It ain't rocket science, man, anyone with half a brain can figure out what it means when a device modifies/amplifies a signal so that the ECU gets a bigger signal than was input. If you're drag racing, a pedal commander is useless as you'll be running full throttle in the right transmission mode the entire time.
