I think any 3IS+ owner can agree that the 0-60 is terrible, especially after the 2021 it has gotten even slower. However, we do excel more in top end. I personally do not care much for top end since I am not roll racing much or just racing in general, but I just love that feel of low end power and I think that is where you find the most enjoyment in a vehicle. Has anyone had any experience swapping the gearing from the 2IS (4.08) onto the 3is (Specifically 2018+)? I've heard that it is direct bolt on but that was from one small thread and it was into an ISF. 2IS IS350's can compensate with that lack of top end when they go fbo and tune, so why not do that with the 3IS.

(If anyone knows any alternatives to improve that low end power that isn't going forced induction or changing the gearing also feel free to reply.)

I’ll be swapping the rear end on my 2018 RWD soon with a awd rear end (3.76). You can use from is/gs awd it’s a direct bolt on swap.

 

make a thread when you're done with it please, trust me a lot of 3is owners want to do this but are scared to because not many people have done it. Or if anything dm my ig mikey.4is
