Default Drive train swap opinion

I crashed my auto TT Supra and in a dilemma on what to do with it.

It has only has 61K miles and the following BPU++ modifications:

Greddy Intercooler and hard piping
HKS Racing Blow Off Valve
HKS EVC and VPC
HKS Intake
HKS D/P and Super Dragger
Boost gauge in place of the clock
Eibach spring and shock “Lowered 1 ˝”

I am considering putting my drive train in a non-turbo Supra or a SC300/400. I would also like to go with a 6-Speed but my car is an automatic and I know the gearing is different and it would more that likely be a big pain. Opinions??

Thanks,

David

You're staring down the barrel of a heck of a lot of hard work.

Best to sell me your LSD and call it a day

Do a search for SC300 and 2jz-gte.
There is a lot of info on the site.

Default conversion to SC300

Lots of my customers would love to take over your drivetrain for their SC300 TT projects!. But if you like that engine, you've got virtually everything you need to do the conversion to an SC300, and my manual can make it easy. With a complete supra such as yours, I honestly think I could do the whole swap, including wiring interface in a week's time. You could too! Of course, if you choose to go manual, there's a bit more to it. If it were me, I'd just keep the auto, and spend the extra dough on wringing another 100-120 horses out of the stock engine (VPC, better exhaust, boost controller, etc)

Hey Phil, did you get my email about the pin colors being off? Let me know. I'm halfway through the GTE swap using your (extremely helpful) manual .

Good lord Bama Dave!! What hit you?!?
I love your car; it makes my cry to see it in such pain (single tear down my cheek).
