The AEM ignores the IGF signal so it does not care what ignitor or ignition system you have. Just follow the settings for the Non turbo box it should already be setup for the stock coil with the stock single IGT wire going to the ecu.
Gracias senor!

Make sure it has a good ground and all the connections are secure. Also need the TT ecu, 440cc injectors, map sensor and IAT installed at the least.

Hello! Im new both here and to the car community. First Ali, ur doing amazing work helping us out <3. Tho I do have a question, I have two cars right now and Im not sure what I should do with one of my motors. I have a (too) rusty 2001 IS300 with a good motor (which iv pulled from the car) and a 1992 SC400 with a blown up motor. Iv seen your 2jz NAT sc400 guides, however I was wondering if it was possible (or even worth it) to attempt to swap my good 2JZ GE (keeping it NA as im thinking of daily driving it to college) motor into my SC400 or should I just sell the 2JZ? My problem is that my motor im trying to swap is the VVTI version of the 2JZ and the car im trying to swap it into is the OBD1 early model of the sc400.

Much love from Canada!
(we never got the sc300s )

I have a question, got a 2GS and been wanting to go turbo like many others. I don't have the time to build a block and would love to if i had the free time. With that being said, considering how Toyota still sells brand new 2JZ-GTE shortblocks pre-assembled I figured that makes the most sense. WIth that being said I wanted to know do all the NA 2JZ-VVTI accesories (alternator/ac compressor/etc) do all of those things bolt right up to a 2JZGTE block? also I was thinking running a NA 2JZ VVTI head would be easy considering there's plenty here in the states, but in the past i had saw a few youtube videos of people having to drill in cam sensor bungs into the NA VVTI head, is that only needed when you are trying to run the stock ECU? or is there any way around that. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I just want a reliable 500-600whp, maybe throw some mild cams in, decent turbo, injectors, intercooler, aftermarket ecu and call it a day. Just want some clarification on those things, thanks in advance!
