Im having problems with my od light blinking when im driving. sometime it feels like it doesnt go in gear. also sometime turning the car on from cool start it has a ruff idle and hard to shift from park when it does it jerks and make a loud bang sound under the car. im pretty worried its getting worst and im 8 months pregnant i only have this car and dont want to part with it hoping to get it fix before the baby comes. any ideas whats wrong. its 92 sc 400 with 132000 miles. timing belt replaced at 112000miles new battery last month.

you could possibly need a new alternator.

have you check the transmission fluid level ?

Flashing O/D can be bad solenoid too.

Wouldn't hurt to check the ECU for leaking capacitors. The ECU is underneath the passengers side carpeting up by the firewall. Disconnect the battery, pull back the carpeting remove the plastic black box cover and then remove the ECU without breaking the harness. Crack it open and check for signs of leaking or corrosion. Any slight leakage is a red flag. Post up what you find! GL.

Flashing O/D means transmission failure.

8 months pregnant and you ask her to pull off the ECU just in case?

At 132k miles it is highly unlikely unless previous owners haven't touched the fluids.
