And on to the pigtail..it seems like there's a little rip in the wire below the pigtail. ..what other car/pigtail will fit on a 2jz ge? Thanks for the help in advance...I am a noob

lol. I really hope you didn't cut it off. its a shielded wire meaning it is a regular wire on the inside, surrounded by insulation, surrounded by a ground wire, surrounded by more insulation. lol. they have to be shielded because knock sensors and o2 sensors make their own voltage, (essentially a battery). you can find the pigtail I believe by just typing it in on google.

Not sure how to post up pics..lol..but I was going to use a coax shield cable and run connected to the knock sensor. ..and run it to the wires at the ecu..and does any body know which wire is the knock sensor 1 wear that runs to the ecu..or what pin?

How do u even get to that page to load up pics..lol...but I have been researching for the pass few hours..and making your own knock sensor wire sounds pretty legit...using a shield cable..u use the protected wire and solder to female terminal..then the out side wire ...solder or twisted to a 16-18 gauge wire for ground...now on the other end you jus rewire it back to the knock sensor wire at the plug where the ecu is.

on he bottom where it says "post quick reply" theres another button that says, "go advanced" click go advanced before you even start typing. on the top of the go advanced page, theres a button that is shaped like a paper clip. click the paper clip and post the picture/pictures.
as far as coaxial cord, it would work as long as you ground out the outside wire. let me try and paint a picture on paint and I can show you what I mean.

edit: coaxial cord only has one wire on the inside. it will not work. it will break after a few hundred miles and/or not supply the right voltage to the ecu from the sensor.
