1UZ fuel and timing maps anyone?
About to start my 1uz SC400 on megasquirt. If anyone has fuel and/or timing maps they would like to share, that would be great! It may save me at least some time to get it up and running.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Maybe rephrase your question because i have no idea what you asking :s
and it could be that i'm not the only one
if you mean the timing of the ignition then we have a fixed plate , no timing at all

Thanks OLT
SC400NL - Im looking for 1UZ timing and fuel maps. These are the base values of timing and VE used with aftermarket EFI controllers. Its no problem to set them up from scratch, but it takes a lot of time. Using a known good table as a starting point makes things easier and takes a lot less time to tune.

Yes sir, currently in the process of tuning it on the street! I have a thread on it if you wish to track the progress.

I would start with the timing maps from a 2jz and scale it back like 5 degrees and tune it up from there. the engines are different but it would be a decent baseline to start from.
fuel map is going to be custom, shouldn't be too hard to experiment and throw one together.. there might be some online but not too many megasquirt 1uz's around here.

Actually my current timing map made from scratch and tuned from the seat of the pants looks almost identical to the 2jz map I have, except the idle and low rpm/load zone that is currently way lower. But thanks for the tip, it would have been a great base!
Im sure there are plenty of 1UZ tunes out there, unfortunately many dont like to share a tune they spent big $ on.

yeah the 2jzgte maps have a very aggressive timing for idle and ramp up sections of the timing map which is why I always take out around 5 and start from there so you aren't pinging like crazy at idle.
sounds like you made my 2jzge na-t I drop the idle ranges down to the lower teens and then calculate the ramp up inbeteween, cruise and other acceleration areas the motors can take more or less the same timing as a gte although I have found you make similar power even backed off a few degrees which ius easier on our motors being a little high compression and all. It must be the lower compression on the gte motors can take the extra timing, but the 1uz is high compression like na-t so it does not surprise me that works. good to know for the 1uz!!
If its running strong you are probably good I wouldn't push the timing too much just get it in the safe zone, dial in the afr's for max torque and then work on power adders if you need more, intake headers, supercharger, there are lots of fun things you can do. so howd the fuel maps go?
