Default Need advice on adjusting clutch

Recently installed a new spec clutch on my sc3. After the clutch was in the biggest thing I noticed is that that pedal is pretty soft compared to the stock clutch I had ( was expecting stiffer). The real problem is that it tried to grab pretty much right off the floor, to the point that it almost doesnt like being put into gear as if it is not fully disengaged.

I actually felt it try and grind going into first at a stop sign because it was say 1/2 an inch off the floor.
I can drive it so long as I go out of my way to depress the clutch more than I am used too.

Looking for someone who had a similar problem, I know there is a rod to adjust the pedal some what so any input on what you did would be great.

Also there is no air in the system and the flywheel was resurfaced.
